Welcome to Listening Horse

Here, at Listening Horse, I and my horses offer person-centred and non-judgemental equine facilitated trauma informed sessions and equine facilitated learning sessions in a safe and supportive space.

Trauma informed sessions are designed for clients who:

find themselves in trouble
would like to deal with past or current trauma
feel stuck or feel like the past is affecting them in daily tasks
feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, bereaved, going through emotional distress
are experiencing difficulties in personal and/or professional relationships
and many other personal and professional challenges

Learning session are designed for clients who:

prefer not to delve into past
would like to move forward in a thriving manner instead of surviving one

With utmost consideration taken for the wellbeing of the horses acting as co-facilitator, I offer both ridden* and non-ridden sessions through which one can develop self-awareness, congruence, confidence, emotional regulation and resilience.

What role do horses play in these sessions?

Horses and nature go hand in hand and this may be very appealing to those who prefer the outdoors to room-based setting and who find little help in talkative therapies only. But not only to those.

Clients with learning difficulties and differences, neurodiverse, highly sensitive and empathic clients, and clients who experienced prolonged but unsuccessful therapies may find this a better fit for their individual and unique needs.

Spending time with horses provides safe and authentic space where deep, meaningful and long term emotional connections are created, which in return aid the healing and contribute to lifelong learning.
